     St. Nicholas  Orthodox Center of Education (before 2009 Orthodox Classical Gymnasium in the name of St. Nicholas) was established in February 1997.  The Center represents all levels of education:

- Pre-school,

- Primary,

- average,

- Full general,

- Additional.

 

  Additional education is represented by various directions:

- Artistic and aesthetic,

- Local history,

- Military-patriotic,

- Cultural,

- Socio-pedagogical,

- Physical culture and sports.

 

  The school component includes the following items:

- The Law of God (1-4 cl.)

- Church-Slavic language (2-6 cl.)

- The Old Testament (5 cl.)

- New Testament (6-9 cl.)

- Liturgy (7 cl.)

- Greek language (8-11).

- The history of the Church (10-11).

 

   Conducted an extensive extra-curricular work with children: workshops, lectures, visits to exhibitions, concerts, theaters. Every year, children make pilgrimages and rest in the Holy Land, Greece, Cyprus, Serbia, Bulgaria and other countries.

   A number of students are the winners of contests and competitions on subjects, including "Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture". Students are working with veterans visited orphanages, organize Easter and Christmas presentation.

   Among the students a lot of people from low-income families, students of the orphanage.

   The total number of students is 140, the number of employees - 35. Among the teachers there are teachers of the highest category.

   Graduates regularly show high scores on the exam and to enter higher education. Among the graduates there are several priests, undergoing obedience in Moscow and the Moscow region.

    The building is constructed home church, which takes place weekly reading Akathist to St. Nicholas, Hours and Divine Liturgy. Students help at the altar, read, sing in the church choir.
